We graduated!
These posts are in the wrong order, and I can't figure out how to rearrange them...but we graduated! Steve and Bruce graduated on the same day from BYU and even got to walk together! I am so proud of them both :) And I have my master's degree! Holy Smokes!

The first weeks in N.C.
We made it through our first few weeks in North Carolina! So far we are loving it here. Everything is so green and there are trees EVERYWHERE! Steve's drive to the law school takes him straight through a forest (at least that is what it feels like). I already think it is very hot and humid, but people have told us that this is nothing yet!! So I am a little nervous for the rest of the summer! Also, the rain here is crazy...I have never seen anything like it at home. All the sudden it will just start pouring! And the rain is hot, so combined with the hot air outside, it just feels like you are standing in the shower. My wonderful mom flew out here with me and stayed for a few days to help us get settled. Unfortunately there was a tropical storm happening the whole time she was here, so it was very rainy the whole time she was here. But we did get a break in the rain to visit the chapel on the Duke campus. It is amazing!

I was sad when my mom had to go home, but we were so thankful for all of her help!
This summer has been a big adjustment for me... being done with school is a huge relief, but now I don't know what to do with my time!! Steve is gone at school all day, so I have a lot of time to kill until I start my job in August. Thankfully, our apartment complex has a nice pool, so I spend a lot of time there :) We haven't done too much that is very North Carolina-y yet...but I am hoping that we will be able to make it to the beach soon! Steve loves school, which is awesome. He loves his classes, professors, and classmates, and thinks that we definitely made the right choice in coming here. Steve is the only LDS student right now, so that is a big change coming from BYU! But it has been great. At church, most of the people are from Utah or went to BYU and are here from school. Anyways, our apartment feels nice and homey and we are loving it here so far.
Here are a few pictures of our apartment if anyone is curious where we live :)
