Time flies when you're having fun

We can't believe we have been here for almost 6 weeks already! We love it here! We have been major slackers about blogging, so we have a lot to catch up on.  Instead of writing a lot, here are a bunch of pictures from the last 3 - 4 weeks with a few captions underneath to explain what's going on.

These were all taken at the Magic Fountain of Montjuic. They have a fountain show most nights, which is pretty cool. We were there during a big festival, which meant fireworks and lots of people.  

We went to the Picasso Museum! Mason loved how his voice echoed in the museum, so he was yelling the whole time.  We went on a holiday, so we got in free! 

We had so much fun walking about Mercat del Born.  Yummy gelato and lots of fun stores.

Happy Birthday to me! We had a yummy breakfast at our favorite pastry shop (L'Obrador), and later in the evening (after a fun day seeing sites) we celebrated with cake, ice cream, and macarons.

On my birthday, we also went to La Sagrada Familia.  It was beautiful!

We went to see the Guell Palace, which was also built by Gaudi.  

Casa Batlló! (Also by Gaudi). If you look up pictures of Barcelona, this building always pops up.  It was fun to see in real life.  

Today we went to see the Barcelona Cathedral, which is in the Gothic Quarters in Barcelona.  It was so pretty!

For Sarriá Festival (a week-long party for the small city we live in), people decorated our street with these banners.  It was to wake up in the morning to a decorated street!

As part of the Sarriá Festival on Sunday, there was a huge lunch/dinner on our street.  This is the view from our apartment.

On the last night of the Festival, there was a big firework show.  We had a great view from our bedroom window.  At first, Mason was pretty upset about it, but when he got to see what was making the noise, he loved it.  

What better way to end this post than a couple pictures of this guy? He is already 8 months old! He is crawling, has 6 teeth, and is finally learning to sleep (almost) through the night.  We sure love him!
